Founder / CEO
Ms. Nigh is the CEO of BEYOND HC LLC. BEYOND is a woman owned and operated consulting firm that is specific to performing HITRUST Assessments. BEYOND provides their clients a personalized “one to one” approach to the highest level of service and quality. As a HITRUST CSF Assessor Organization, BEYOND HC LLC provides readiness, certification, and remediation services for healthcare organizations and their business associates assessing compliance with the industry security requirements and standards. BEYOND will work with each client and create solutions that help that organization align with the HITRUST Common Security Framework (CSF).

Prior to joining BEYOND, Ms. Nigh worked within the Information Security area of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBS) focusing on Risk Management and Compliance Initiatives. Ms. Nigh acted as a consultant with various Departments within the Organization to identify and remediate any deficiencies within that group. Further, she counseled IT/IS management as well as senior leadership in defining strategic performance initiatives and process assessment guidelines for adherence to their internal processes.

Formerly, Ms. Nigh was a member of The Marmon Group LLC management team where she oversaw project design and management within the Organization’s Law Department. This included the successful redesign and implementation of a multi-dimensional digital billing system. She also evaluated and redesigned the notice process to insurance carriers as well as the overall matter management. In addition, her responsibilities also included financial and systems management oversight.

Ms. Nigh has more than 20 years of experience in internal audit, compliance and regulatory administration and project management operations. Ms. Nigh was a manager within the audit departments of Bally Total Fitness and TransUnion LLC. She led a team of audit professionals responsible for the overall audit schedule with emphasis on regulatory and compliance obligations, and organizational requirements in accordance to Sarbanes-Oxley, GLB, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Ms. Nigh also served as lead manager in business process reengineering audits within the payroll, human resource and compliance departments providing leadership around emergent issues, and addressing concerns before they became a crisis.

Ms. Nigh currently sits on the Board of Directors for Luther North College Prep (formerly Luther High School North); and member of the IIA Publications Action Committee. She is the immediate past Chair of the Chicago Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors Women’s Initiative Forum; a past member of the Board of Governors of the Chicago Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors; past president of the Women’s Board of Heartland Alliance; and past board member of the Girl Scouts of Chicago.

Ms. Nigh received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Hanover College, obtained the Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) through the Institute of Internal Auditors; Certification Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB); and Certified CSF Practitioner (CCSFP) through HITRUST Alliance. She is currently working on her MBA at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in Lake Forest, IL.
