BEYOND HC LLC Continues to Support Shriners Children’s
(Sanford, Florida, September 20, 2024), Shriners Hospitals for Children is an amazing organization with the mission “to provide the highest quality care to children with neuromusculoskeletal conditions, burn injuries and other special healthcare needs.”
BEYOND HC LLC Founder | CEO Cathlynn Nigh stated, “Shriners Children’s will continue to be a special organization to BEYOND and to my family. We are excited to continue our support of this amazing hospital and help children have a better life.”
Cathlynn’s family has been connected with Shriners Hospitals since the 1970 when her Mom (Joan Nigh) was the Director for the Refugee Program for the City of Chicago, and her grandfather (William Lemke) a Master Mason. Any refugee child coming into Chicago that required the special attention that only Shriners could provide, through Mrs. Nigh and Mr. Lemke…that child was brought to Shriners. As we continue to support Shriners, one way that BEYOND supports Shriners Children’s is through its charitable program of “pop” top collection. Shriners Hospitals will use the proceeds from these tops to purchase medical and prosthetic devices for the children. So far we have donated over 100 pounds of pop tops.
“The collection of the can tops allows our team to come together and easily participate in the act of helping the kids”, Cathlynn Nigh.
Shriners Children’s is a special, one-of-a-kind healthcare system with a reputation for finding answers and giving families hope for their child’s future. Since opening its first hospital in 1922, Shriners Children’s has made it their mission to improve the lives of children, regardless of a family’s ability to pay or insurance status. Over the last century, Shriners Children’s has treated more than 1.5 million children from more than 170 countries. Today, their multiple locations in the United States, Canada, and Mexico provide advanced care for children with a range of orthopedic issues, as well as care for burn injuries, craniofacial conditions, spine care and spinal cord injuries, colorectal and gastrointestinal care, and sports medicine.
