Chicago Illinois, September 12, 2016 – BEYOND HC LLC, a woman owned HITRUST CSF Assessor Organization that provides readiness, certification, and remediation services for healthcare organizations and their business associates, named Ray Biondo as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

In his role, Biondo will be responsible for building the CIO, CISO and Cybersecurity practices at BEYOND.  His goal is to ensure the BEYOND Clients have a strong alignment to the latest threats and risks while protecting their valuable assets.  In addition, Biondo will be cultivating an information security and technology Think Tank made up of top security professionals.  “There is a need to help organizations address the challenges they face aligning business process with information technology and security; to show how to take full advantage of new digital tools and resources through best practices.” ~Ray Biondo

Biondo joins BEYOND HC LLC from Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) where he was Divisional Senior Vice President and CISO – HCSC is the largest customer-owned health insurance company in the United States and the 4^th largest health insurer in the US overall.

Biondo brings over 30 years of senior IT executive experience.  He has lead application development, infrastructure and security groups with annual budgets up to $800MM and over 600 direct reports.  As CIO and VP, he’s worked in the insurance/reinsurance, healthcare payer and provider, legal and financial industries.
